This classic cottage has the original hardwood floors throughout, gorgeous wood cathedral ceilings in the main room, a large open living, dining room, kitchen area, remodeled bath, extra large outside shower w/ dressing area, covered front porch and side sun deck. The owners just had the exterior and the decks painted, roof was replaced in 2004, HVAC was 2007 and compressor replaced in 2011 under warranty, windows were replaced in 2008 with double pane tilt in replacement windows. This cottage is a 2 bedroom, 1 bath, however it is the same square footage as many of the 3 bedroom, 2 bath beach boxes giving it a very large main living space. Having one bathroom is why the owners incorporated the larger outside shower area and put a sink w/ vanity in the one bedroom - this has been appreciated. The beach access is very close by & closer to many homes on the beach road. Access is either at the end of the street or just down to E Lake which has no parking, so it is an uncrowded beach. People who look at beach stability, know that this area of the beach is one of the most stable sections on the Outer Banks. This is a turnkey home that would be a great beach cottage - could bring in a little income, be a true affordable second home or someone's primary that is downsizing or just wants an affordable home at the beach.
